Eco-Terror
Fortini reports from the set of Fox's 24 on the production's commitment to reduce its carbon footprint, even aiming for a carbon-neutral finale. From Priuses to fluorescent lights, the creators of the prime-time drama are going green. This is ironic, of course, since 24's production is largely on-location, meaning lots of fossil fuels are used getting from one place to another. The key grips are skeptical, as well: one says it's all "talk, talk, talk." First-hand reporting and on-the-set description make this otherwise dull story quite readable.
